WHO WE ARE
The Yeti Parent Committee is New Summit Charter School’s version of a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Our mission is to build strong connections between families, staff, and the school community while supporting the success of every student.
The YPC exists to:
• Support Students & Staff – Provide resources, encouragement, and recognition for teachers and students.
• Build Community – Create opportunities for families to connect, celebrate, and get involved in school life.
• Enhance Learning Experiences – Organize fundraisers and events that benefit classrooms, programs, and schoolwide initiatives.
• Encourage Volunteerism – Invite parents and guardians to share their time, talents, and energy to strengthen our school.
WHAT WE DO
•.Family events (Fall Festival, spring carnival, community nights, & so much more)
• Teacher and staff appreciation activities
• Fundraising efforts for classroom and school needs
• Volunteer opportunities for parents and caregivers
• Communication between families and the school
